Sheet masks are always a treat for skin, and what better ones to try out for the spooky season than the candy-themed masks from Candy O’Lady! The YesStylist editors tried the Cake Pop Candy Mask for calming effects, the Little Witch Candy Mask to improve skin elasticity, and the Holiday Candy Mask to add radiance to skin.
Read on to see which sheet masks worked best for our different skin types!

Dianne: OMG guys~ I love the packaging of these sheet masks! So vibrant! ?
Zoe: But it’s candy-flavored, lol.
Maureen: It’s almost Halloween!
Dianne: I tried the Cake Pop Candy Mask first, and while the fit wasn’t so great (still too big), I loved how calming it was on my irritated and oily skin.
I thought it would smell super sweet because of the candies on the packaging, but thankfully it didn’t!
Sarah: The mask fits perfectly on me actually. ? I also liked that the smell was surprisingly not overly sweet or strong and it definitely left a super refreshing, cooling sensation on my skin. ❄️
Zoe: Sameee~ I think the fit was perfect and pretty easy to put on. It did smell a little too sweet for my liking, but I got used to it quickly. It definitely calmed my skin after a hot shower. ?
Dianne: The mask has aloe vera, chamomile and rosemary extracts ? so I guess that’s why it’s so soothing. TBH the packaging left me thinking the ingredients would be something else. ?
Zoe: I know right. The packaging did scare me a bit.
Sarah: Ooh no wonder~ I definitely smelled the aloe vera on this mask!
Dianne: Yes, I really felt the aloe on my skin! I loved it but it did leave a slightly sticky finish afterwards.
Maureen: I think it’s acceptable. Maybe it’s because I have dry skin.
Sarah: I actually didn’t find the mask sticky! The essence fully absorbed into my skin super quickly, which was a major bonus.
Dianne: Or maybe it’s because you’ve got combination skin, Sarah!
Zoe: I think my skin is more or less normal now. The mask had just the right amount of moisture for me, and wasn’t sticky after it dried!
Dianne: Maureen, was it gentle enough on your sensitive skin tho?
Maureen: I think so! Fragrance could really ruin my skin, but luckily this one didn’t. I just wished the fit was better – the nose part could be longer since I’ve got a long face. ?
I also like the texture of the mask, which isn’t too thick or thin.
Sarah: Yesss, I agree! I thought the texture was perfect ? lightweight, breathable and adhered to the face well.
Dianne: Defos liked how all three masks weren’t too thin like other sheet masks! As nice as they are on skin, super thin sheets are hard to unfold and put on your face. ?
Little Witch Candy Mask

Dianne: All three masks had the same nice lightweight texture, but I REALLY liked the Little Witch Candy packaging the best. Perf for the spooky season!?
Maureen: Same! ? ?
Zoe: I was expecting it to smell like pumpkin lol, but it just smelled floral to me.
Dianne: Shockingly enough, it doesn’t have pumpkin in the ingredient list. ?
Maureen: All three masks actually smelled the same to me, like candy. :$
Dianne: To me, this had a subtler scent compared to the Cake Pop Candy Mask.
Maureen: Yeah, you can’t tell from the packaging… The masks are like a box of candies: you never know what you’re gonna get.
Sarah: IMO the Holiday Candy Mask had the strongest scent and the Cake Pop Candy Mask had the mildest. I think this one was in the middle for me, but yeah, there was no trace of pumpkin.
Maureen: So what’s actually in it?
Dianne: Hydrolyzed collagen, coconut oil and peptides appaz.
Zoe: Classic anti-aging ingredients haha.
Dianne: I definitely felt the effects of the coconut oil! My skin was sooo hydrated after use.
Maureen: No wonder this one feels the most moisturizing, but also sticky to me.
Zoe: I could also feel the firming effect while I was wearing it. Some part of the mask covered the tip of my upper lip and it felt numb afterwards. ?
Sarah: Yeah, I found this to be the most moisturizing! But I also experienced a slightly uncomfortable warm, tingly feeling after use. :/
Maureen: I thought it was just me!
Zoe: It’s the firming effect lol.
Dianne: I guess it’s not for everyone but this was my fave!!!
Maureen: Plumpkin ?
Holiday Candy Mask
Editor | Skin Type | Fit | Texture | Scent | Moisturizing Power | Finishing |
Dianne | Oily | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
Maureen | Sensitive | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |

Zoe | Dry | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
Maureen: I love this one the best because it says “holiday.”
Dianne: Out of the three, this was defos my least favorite. ;(
Maureen: Oh no!
Sarah: Omg me too, I couldn’t stand the scent. ?
Zoe: This is a love/hate kinda scent for me. It reminds me of strawberry Calpol cough syrup that I used to have as a kid. I guess that’s the scent of artificial fruits lol.
Maureen: Haha, maybe it’s a gift that I don’t have a good sense of smell.
Dianne: Yesss! This definitely lived up to its vibrant candy packaging.
Dianne: This one is supposed to add “sheen” to your skin LOL.
Sarah: What were the ingredients in this one? ?
Zoe: It’s supposed to be brightening, right? I actually found it more firming than the Little Witch Candy Mask. :O
Dianne: Yeah, it has glutathione to brighten skin as well as trehalose and hydrolyzed collagen to moisturize. ?
Maureen: I just like the finishing of this one the most.
Zoe: I feel like the finishing for all three are the same for me, but this had the worst scent.
Sarah: Honestly, I didn’t really notice three distinct effects on my skin, but maybe I need to try them for longer to see.
Dianne: I actually think it absorbed well into my skin but its fragrance is so overpowering. It was only after my second try that I noticed its effects. ?
Maureen: The Little Witch Candy Mask sits on my skin a bit while the Cake Pop Candy Mask is more soothing than moisturizing, so I think the Holiday Candy Mask suits me best.
Zoe: I love how all three are soaked in a lot of essence, but was a little sad about how there was barely any left in the packet. I had to use the excess from the sheet itself for my arms and legs. ?
Dianne:The three are quite similar but I’d pick the Little Witch Candy ? as my fave since it quickly absorbed into my skin and didn’t leave it feeling too sticky.
Sarah: The Cake Pop Candy Mask was def my fave for its comparably gentle scent ♥️ but I also liked the Little Witch Candy Mask bc of how moisturizing it was!
Maureen: Am I the only one who likes the Holiday Candy Mask the most? Dianne, I’m surprised you like the Little Witch Candy Mask the most since you’ve got oily skin and it felt a little sticky for me. Anyway, I guess we all have different needs for our skin.
Dianne: Same, I was shocked as well! It did feel sticky initially but after a while, I noticed it had absorbed into my skin! It might be because the weather is changing and my skin is becoming even more dehydrated. ?
Maureen: Well my skin’s getting drier and itchier too… but at least Halloween is coming!!!
