The creator of “Fat Icon” merchandise and website And I Get Dressed Kellie Brown has collaborated with one of the biggest retailers, Amazon. The capsule collection is 70s inspired includes cardigans, wide-leg pants, fun big floral prints, powder blue blazer, and cute snitched waist short dress. This collection will be sold in a 30-hour window. The pieces cost between $39.90 and $59.90.
Kellie said this drop is full of “things I want to wear and not seen in my size and pieces are easy.” What inspired her was her mom’s effortless style and looks for the backyard barbecues, similar to old-school movie scenes.
I started the process by creating inspiration boards and searching for prints and colors to create the right styles I love and felt like many of my followers would love, too.

The 30-hour drop is size inclusive and available in sizes XXS-3X. What this collection provides are options that are something different for plus size women. What stands out is Kellie and another plus size model are the only ones shown in the product images. She has made it loud and clear that her target audience are plus size woman.
This collection is about self-expression.
Fashion is such a big part of how most of us express ourselves. We of course get dressed for work and events etc., but a lot of getting dressed is to bring joy into our days. Colors we love to the ideas we’ve seen and been inspired to recreate.
