Just when you think 2020 couldn't get any wilder, Addison Rae Easterling signs on to star in a gender-swapped remake of She's All That. Varietyis reporting that the viral TikTok star,
who has over 58 million followers on the app alone, will star in He's All That. Yes, it's a re-imagining of the hit '90s teen rom-com, and you can officially feel ancient now.
Easterling's acting debut will place her in the role of an influencer challenged to turn one of her school's nerdy guys into Prom King. It's a reversal from the original film, which saw Freddie Prinze Jr. play the big man on campus who dared to turn the "beautiful-without-her-glasses" Rachael Leigh Cook into Prom Queen. Director Mark Waters of hit early aughts teen movies Mean Girls and Freaky Friday is set to helm the project, while R. Lee Fleming, the OG writer of She's All That, will return to pen the remake.

Easterling knows a thing or two about having influence. Prior to her foray into the film world, she launched her own YouTube channel, podcast, and beauty brand. Rumors even circulated this week that the colorful Easterling family would take over the E! Network void left by the Kardashian-Jenners when news broke that Keeping Up With the Kardashians will end in 2021.
Easterling confirmed the news on social media (and ensured she'd seen the 1999 original) on Instagram:
"AHHHHH!!! My dreams are coming true!!! I’m so excited to finally share the news that i am getting the opportunity to make my acting debut in HE’S ALL THAT which is a remake of one of my all time favorite movies, SHE’S ALL THAT.
I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to me and none of it would have ever happened without every single one of you.

The movie will be produced by the team behind She's All That—Jennifer Gigbot and Andrew Panay, according to Variety."This reboot is a welcomed step towards a new generation of Miramax storytelling, part of our greater strategy to leverage our existing library with fresh, re-imagined content in both film and TV," Miramax CEO Bill Block said of the remake.
Petition for a meta Kourtney Kardashian cameo begins now.
