The Very On-Sale Vans Sneakers that Even Harry Styles Loves

Harry Styles loves a bold fit. You're used to seeing the “Adore You” crooner in up-tempo ensembles (nappa leather suits, faux-fur boas, cropped wool knits) by the likes

of Alessandro Michele over at Gucci, Harris Reed and up-and-coming British designer Steven Stokey Daley.

Vans have the range…to work with a Gucci bag and a beautiful Bode shirt.

But the 27-year-old chart-topper isn't just about eye-catching outfits that belong on the red carpet at the Grammys. In his downtime he also wears Nike sweatshirts, low-key vintage T-shirts and, notably, budget-friendly sneakers you don't need a hit single to afford.

Styles' sneaker collection is packed with Reebok Club Cs, New Balance 574s, and, as we've just seen on the set of upcoming flick My Policeman, Vans that clock in at an inexpensive $75 (or less).

Yet more proof that Harry Styles wears these Vans.

The Vans Anaheim Factory Authentic 44 DX, released earlier this year, celebrates the brand's 55th anniversary. Paying homage to the first Vans factory in Anaheim, California, the sneaks borrow details from the skate-infused label's popular 1966 Authentic design—which was its first ever shoe—such as its lace-up construction and super-soft canvas upper.

The classic kicks come with an all-over sky-blue and white checkerboard design, which was first introduced in the 1970s by Steve Van Doren, the son of Vans founder Paul, serving as another nod to Vans' past. Meanwhile, they've been given a subtle modern update by way of Ortholite sock liners, which bolster the comfort of the OG Authentic design.

Our advice? Wear with a boxy tee and some shorts, and get on with your summer.
