Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Have No Qualms About Giving Each Other ‘Honest’ Fashion Advice
Look, when you’ve been famous for as long as Katy Perry and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, have, you’re allowed a few fashion blunders. Considering I whine about putting on a pair
of jeans in the morning, I try not to fault celebrities for their perplexing 75-inch ponytails or, y’know, worm dresses. But at least Perry and Bloom seem to recognize that not every look is going to be a hit.
To be fair, not all these chats are about what not to wear. The “Roar” singer revealed that the couple—who’ve been engaged since February 2019—have fun trading advice over costume fittings. “Yesterday he was shooting something and he was in full armor,” Perry said. “We talked about the costumes and the makeup...Or I’ll have a fitting going to something, he’ll ask me for notes and I’ll show him this. It’s fun.”
In the months since welcoming daughter Daisy in August 2020, the couple has regularly shared touching (and sometimeshilarious) moments from their first year as a family. “This is going to be [Daisy’s] first Christmas and New Year’s where it’s all going to start to come to life,” she said. “So it’s about, like, creating those family traditions...For instance, even just weekly family traditions. Like, we go on a walk ever Sunday morning or something like that.”
Bloom and Perry have opted thus far not to share any public photos of their daughter, but—if their Halloween and Thanksgiving posts are any indication—there’s a good chance they’ll share their holiday looks as a couple. After knowing how much work goes into their wardrobe, we’re expecting nothing short of greatness.
