In the time warp that is 2021, it feels equally possible that Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have been together for a few months—or for all of eternity. In reality, the
couple are nearing their one-year anniversary, after having initially struck up a friendship (and, soon, romance) on the set of their psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling, set to debut in September 2022.
Even after a wild year of the “Watermelon Sugar” singer criss-crossing the country for his Love On Tour set and Wilde juggling multiple film projects, the two are going strong, a source revealed to People. “[They try] to see each other as much as possible,” the apparent “insider” says. “Olivia has been flying nonstop between L.A., where her kids live, to join Harry on tour. She always seems focused on just making it all work. She is really Harry’s biggest fan.”
That last part comes as no surprise, given Wilde has been spotted wearing Styles’s Love On Tour T-shirts while strolling around Los Angeles. But this source also shared the update that Styles has apparently been “getting to know” Wilde’s children with ex-husband Jason Sudeikis: Otis, 7, and Daisy, 5. Wilde herself has also spent more time with Harry’s mother, Anne Twist, with whom Wilde and her children attended a Styles concert back in November. (A fan recorded Twist, adorably, dancing with the kids to the One Direction hit “What Makes You Beautiful.”)
The couple has maintained a relatively low profile during the first year of their romance, though Wilde did answer a few questions about Styles for her Vogue interview earlier this month. Addressing their 10-year age gap, the Booksmart director said, “I think what you realize is that when you’re really happy, it doesn’t matter what strangers think about you. All that matters to you is what’s real, and what you love, and who you love.”
