The Kardashians and Jenners Are Reportedly Downsizing Holiday Party Due to COVID

Every year, Kris Jenner famously hosts a massive holiday party with the rest of the Jenners and Kardashians, but this year will reportedly be scaled way back due to the outbreak

of the new COVID-19 variant, according to TMZ. Though they intend to celebrate on their own as a family, the big bash will be held back as cases rise in their area.

In the past, the parties have included a large number of celebrity guests, like

J.Lo, Paris Hilton, Dave Chappelle, Chrissy Teigen, Toni Braxton, Babyface, John Legend and Sia. This year, it was reported that Kim Kardashian's new boyfriend Pete Davidson would be invited, as well as her ex, Kanye West. But Davidson is apparently going home to New York City to be with his family, though he has been traveling back and forth from coast to coast to spend time with Kardashian.

She's also recently been seen in New York, going to catch a movie with Davidson and her sister's ex, Scott Disick, last weekend. That evening, Saturday Night Live was scaled back due to COVID as well, and Davidson was not on set.

A source told People that her visit to New York and his recent stop over in Beverly Hills is enough for them, and Kardashian will be focusing on her kids for the holiday.

“She had a good trip to New York,” the insider said. “Pete took Kim to some of his favorite places. She had fun. Kim is celebrating Christmas with the kids and won't see Pete.”

Despite this separation, the new couple is apparently very into one another and are having a great time.

“He's so into her and is always ‘my girl’ this and ‘my girl’ that,” the source said. “He's exactly what Kim needed after her divorce — someone to make her laugh and just have a fun time with. The end of her marriage was a very dark time for her and Pete has been the best antidote.”
