Kylie Jenner sparked speculation yesterday on her Instagram Story that over two months after giving birth to her baby boy, Jenner still hasn’t chosen a final name for him. The reality
is a little more complicated though, based off of what sources told People.
Jenner posted an Instagram Story of herself at her sister Khloé Kardashian’s birthday party for her daughter True Thompson. Jenner appeared in front of goodie bag baskets labeled for her daughter, Stormi, and her son, “Baby Webster.” Some outlets considered this confirmation that after Jenner publicly announced her son’s name would no longer be Wolf, Jenner hasn’t yet selected a replacement name.
But a source suggested to People that she had in late March and was in no rush to share it publicly. Jenner will “share his name when she’s ready,” the source said.
A second source added, “Kylie and Travis liked Wolf, but after getting to know their son, they felt like the name didn’t fit him. They wanted to choose the perfect name that they both loved.”
Jenner never confirmed herself she had a new name chosen, so the “Baby Webster” can be seen as a sign she hasn’t picked one yet—or she has, but isn’t ready to share it publicly or have any other party guest leak it. Jenner and her sisters shared many photos from True’s party on social media.
When Jenner announced she changed her son’s name from Wolf, she did provide a reason publicly on her Instagram Story. “FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore ??,” she wrote. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere ??”
