Fashion Designer-Made Sedans - Mercedes-Maybach Unveils Second 'Project MAYBACH' Installment (TrendHunter.com)

German luxury car brand Mercedes–Maybach has unveiled the next installment of its collaboration with the late Virgil Abloh dubbed 'Project MAYBACH.' This time, the collaboration consists of a limited-edition custom S-Class with
an accompanying clothing collection.

The vehicle, which is limited to 150 units, was designed by Abloh before his passing in 2021 and, not surprisingly, boasts an eye-catching high fashion-inspired design. The fully-equipped Mercedes-Maybach S-Class S680 features a two-tone color scheme consisting of glossy 'Sand' and 'Obsidian Black.' This soothing color palette extends into the car's interior, where it is used on the leather seats, doors, steering wheel, floor mats, dashboard, and ceiling.

The accompanying clothing capsule also utilizes the same two-tone color scheme, applying the colors to vintage faded tees, cotton fleece crewnecks, hoodies, canvas baseball caps, and racing gloves.
