Seo Ye-ji was born with an innocent girl-next-door face, but makeup artist Maeng from Woosun Salon transformed her into the sophisticated Ko Moon-young with glamorous makeup. Maeng, who is also the MUA behind BlackPink, has shared some of the products she used on Moon-young via her own IG account.
Maeng often applied a matte brown eye shadow to add depth to Moon-young’s eyes, followed by pink or gold glitter to add glam. Lip colors varied from soft pink to bright red. For Moon-young’s floppy hat look, no glitter or blush was used – only matte eye shadow, mascara and bold red lipstick.

Skin Care
In a 2015 episode of Korean beauty TV show Get It Beauty, Seo Ye-ji revealed that she leaves cotton pads fully soaked with micellar water on her skin to remove makeup before gently wiping it away. After cleansing, she uses the mineral-rich CREMORLAB’s T.E.N. Cremor Mineral Treatment Essence and the hyaluronic acid-infused KLAVUU’s Blue Pearlsation Marine Drop Serum to tone and moisturize skin. She’s also a fan of KLAVUU’s White Pearlsation Ideal Actress Backstage Cream, a tone-up cream fortified with pearl extracts and SPF 30 PA++.

Jewelry
It’s hard to ignore Moon-young’s bling every time the camera zooms in. To name a few, there’s the nut-and-bolt-inspired Écrou de Cartier hoop earrings, the studded Clash de Cartier hoop earrings and rings, and the nail-inspired Juste un Clou collection from Cartier. She wears a diamond-studded rose-gold pendant from Chaumet’s Liens collection to match with a dreamy pale pink frock in episode 6, and the quilted Chanel Coco Crush collection in episode 11.
From Bulgari, she wears the Serpenti collection including the signature Tubogas watch, the studded and stackable B.zero1 Rock four-band ring, and several fan-shaped pieces from the Divas Dream collection. She also dons jewelry from Piaget for the family photo. Then, of course, there’s the Didier Dubot D-shaped wirework pendant, a birthday gift from her editor Lee Sang-in.

Every time Moon-young steps on the gas or twists her ankle, you know you’ve found another pair of shoes to fall in love with. Her favorite shoe brands include Jimmy Choo, Gianvito Rossi, Schutz, Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti and Aquazzura. She mostly wears bedazzled sandals, mules and pumps, but a few pairs of tall boots and white platform sneakers from KENZO and Chanel also appear in her repertoire.

Others
Did you know that you can get Sang-tae’s Dooly dinosaur doll and Moon-young’s Mang-tae dreamcatcher doll from YesAsia? With the beginning of the new school year, you might also want to get some exquisite fountain pens like those in the drama – not for stabbing, but to stimulate creative writing and practice calligraphy! By the way, who else has fallen in love with butterfly-themed objects ever since watching the drama?
