Kristen Nichols Shares the Jeans She Wears More Than Anything Else
Who What Wear senior editor Kristen Nichols loves a good wardrobe basic. From her blazer collection to the jeans she wears more than anything else, Nichols's closet is stacked with staples that she'll never
For Nichols, a good pair of jeans, like her Levi's 501s, is something that can be worn over and over again. "I wear these 501s more than almost anything else in my closet, and they're under $100, which means they're a really great buy and super-high quality for the price you're paying," she explains.
In the below video, she pairs her 501s with an elevated black tank from Who What Wear Collection, which she describes as "this amazing knit material that feels really elevated and luxe." The top also has a superb square neckline that looks really great with anything from jeans to relaxed trousers.
Nichols has a huge obsession with blazers and recently purchased a white vegan-leather one from Aritzia that works perfectly for these cooler temperatures. She plans on living in it this fall and winter in Los Angeles.
Pro tip from Nichols: size up so you can achieve that effortless oversize look.
Beyond her go-tos, Nichols loves discovering new brands, such as Tove out of the UK. There's one dress, in particular, from the brand that has become a favorite summer staple for Nichols and can be worn with anything.
She has also been gravitating toward timeless pieces like a blouse from Los Angeles–based brand Ciao Lucia. "It's just the dreamiest top that you could ever want to wear. I love it for anything, from dinner with friends to a date night," she describes.
If you're planning a winter getaway to warmer weather, Nichols found a swimsuit from Isa Boulder that is truly a work of art and is "literally one of the most beautiful pieces" that she owns.
When it comes to accessories, Nichols loves to splurge on bags and shoes, including a vintage pair of Prada mules and the cutest (and smallest) Chanel bag that you'll ever see.
