We're Doubling Down on Eye and Brow Makeup Because of Masks—These Are Our Faves
"Before Patrick Ta rocked my eyebrow world, I relied on tinted eyebrow gels like Anastasia's or Glossier's Boy Brow. They would darken my brows and very temporarily fluff them, but would fail on enhancing the shape or making them look bigger. Patrick Ta's shaping wax is a whole other ball game. The picture pretty much speaks for itself (my left eyebrow is done, and my right eyebrow is natural), but I'll wax poetic about the results anyway. You use a spoolie to choose exactly how erect you want your little sprouts to stand, and softly press them down to gently stick to your skin, which maintains the illusion of fuller brows. I am obsessed with how it makes my brows look bushier, but not too much darker, so I can avoid the look of the intense, sharpie brow. I love the tinted one, and find the tinting is relatively light, but the clear is always an option, too. And while it's a bit more work to use this product than a tube of brow mascara—you have to wet the product and work it onto a spoolie (I bought this pack of 100 for $5 on Amazon) to apply it—I think the results are 100% worth it." — Kat Collings, Editor in Chief
