Last Week, The Best Dressed Stars Showed Off The Power Of Exquisite Tailoring
Intentional style never goes out of fashion and this is becoming even more apparent as life begins to return back to normal, slowly but surely. Stylish African celebrities and style influencers
have of late been dressing with impressive conviction, regardless of aesthetic pedigree and the last week of April 2021 was no different.
Kicking things off, Nigerian fashion designer Lisa Folawiyo served sartorial effortlessness with her all-white ensemble. She wore an oversized white shirt with lacy detailing over a white tank top which was stylishly tucked into a pair of well-tailored loose pants to show off her skinny black belt. To complement her belt, she slung a black shoulder bag and absolutely nailed the classic look.
In South Africa, rapper, actress and businesswoman Boity Thulo celebrated her 31st birthday in a Scalo by Sello Medupe. The beaded couture mini dress with bishop sleeves featured a peplum and train at the back. She finished off her look with a matching pair of sandals while she kept her jewelry to a bare minimum. For her beauty look, she opted for nude glam makeup and a middle-parted blunt cut hairstyle.
More celebrities and top influencers across the motherland also came through in different cuts of stylish looks that were unapologetically ravishing.
The looks shared by African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous, and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them.
