KCD Paris taps James Deeny as vice-president

KCD Paris announced on Monday the appointment of James Deeny as vice-president public relations.
In his new role, Deeny will oversee several main clients of KCD and will help generate new business across divisions. He will work closely with KCD Paris partner, managing director, Laurence Laure, and managing director, Alexis Arnault.
Deeny brings to the fashion service agency an extensive knowledge of the international media and the fashion industry. He joins from Kenzo where he had a seven-year tenure as global director of press and PR, working closely with creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. Prior to that, he was global PR manager at Dries Van Noten.
Founded in 1984, KCD operates offices in New York, Paris, London and Los Angeles, staffed with over 100 employees worldwide. Its six global partners average 15-plus years of employment and work closely with chairmen Julie Mannion, who has been with the agency since its founding.
The agency’s client roster includes Fendi, Isabel Marant, Mugler, Gucci, Farfetch, Diesel and Amazon Fashion.
