Uncommon James, the jewelry company founded and led by TV personality Kristin Cavallari, has announced
its expansion into cosmetics with the launch of its clean skincare brand, Uncommon Beauty.
Free of parabens, phthalates and petroleum, Uncommon Beauty products are made without harsh, irritating ingredients and feature concentrated, antioxidant-rich formulas. The launch collection has been developed as a set of complementary products that form the basis of a healthy skincare routine and claim to provide a range of anti-ageing and cleansing properties.
The brand’s debut offering includes a Daily Foaming Powder Cleanser, a Pineapple Peptide Nectar, a Daily Water Cream, a Triple Effect Eye Cream, and a Mango Lip Balm. Prices range from $15 for a 56oz Mango Lip Balm to $62 for a 40ml Pineapple Peptide Nectar.
Cavallari decided to develop Uncommon Beauty after discovering that many top-tier skincare brands use harmful ingredients that do not align with her organic, health-conscious lifestyle.
“I wanted to find clean skincare products that I could feel confident in using and recommending to my friends and family,” she said in a release. “I was shocked to find out that some of the high-end skincare products I was using contained harmful ingredients which inspired me to create my own line. I’m really proud of the formulas my team and I have come up with. These are products that I would feel comfortable putting on my kids. I’ve been really excited to share what we have been creating and hope you love the products as much as I do.”
Cavallari founded Uncommon James in 2017. The jewelry brand has since explored other categories, launching eyewear through a collaboration with Diff and haircare through a partnership with dpHUE.
Uncommon Beauty products are available to purchase now on a dedicated e-commerce platform, as well as in Uncommon James brick-and-mortar stores.
