Canadian vegan leather brand Lambert to open first flagship
May 18, 2021
Vegan leather bag and accessory brand Lambert announced on Monday its very first flagship store, set to open this
fall in Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal-neighbourhood.
The two-storey 3,000 square-foot space will be home to both the brand’s seasonal and year-round collections, and new office space. The store will be characterized by different “zones” where customers can discover the products, interact with them and enjoy a multi-sensory experience. Moreover, it aims to become a location for special events.
“Building a community around a brand involves more people than just the customers and the brand itself. It involves connecting with people and businesses that share the same values, and who participate in evolving the brand mission,” explained founder and owner, Mélissa Lambert.
“The Lambert flagship is our way to reach out to our community and connect with them in person. In a world that is increasingly developing on digital platforms, the new Lambert space will gladly bring people together.”
The store opening arrives as the Quebec-based brand celebrates its 4th anniversary later this fall. The brand’s success was propelled in 2018 when Lambert herself appeared on an episode of Quebec's 'Dans l'Oeil du Dragon', and even despite the pandemic, her brand continues to see month-after-month online sales growth.
Lambert, which only offers PETA-certified products, is recognized for its versatile and timeless designs made to last and rooted in multi-functionality. Bags are made with PU (polyurethane) – the highest quality of vegan leather - and promise to be soft, resistant and easy to maintain.
It opened its first boutique in the Old Port, though its latest flagship is expected to offer an experience at a whole new level. It will open at 5085 Saint Denis Street with a few surprises planned for the official opening later this year.
