Harry Styles Made a Short, Hilarious Cameo in the Saturday Night Live Cold Open
Harry Styles might not be the next James Bond, but we did get a cheeky little "hello" of sorts from him on Saturday Night Live last night. The singer made a
very short cameo during the Cold Open segment of SNL during which Alec Baldwin and Jim Carrey reenacted last Tuesday's presidential debate.
In the sketch, Carrey portrays a Joe Biden who is having a hard time adhering to his anger management tools as Donald Trump interrupts his every sentence (so basically, they played out the sketch exactly as the real debate happened). At one point, Carrey pops in an AirPod. "I know what'll calm me down," Carrey, as Biden, says. "My new Harry Styles meditation tape."
Styles's face shows up in an air bubble above Biden's head, as he recites: "We dip our toes in the cold, wet sand, then sit and face the sea. We let the waves wash over us. Alone. Just you and me."

Does anyone else wish this meditation tape were real? As SNL noted at the beginning of the Cold Open, it feels as if it's been 100 years since last Tuesday. Since then, Donald Trump has tested positive for COVID-19,
In a four-minute video on Saturday night, Donald Trump said he's "starting to feel good" after being hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center. "I came here, wasn't feeling so well, I feel much better now," he said. "I think I'll be back soon..."we're gonna beat this Coronavirus, or whatever you want to call it. And we're gonna beat it soundly."
