Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Matched in Black Bedazzled Looks for Concert Date
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly had a public date night yesterday at the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert in Los Angeles—and the two coordinated their outfits, naturally. Fox wore a
long black leather coat with jeans and black Mary Janes accented with bejeweled, silver straps. Kelly wore all black too, pairing latex pants with a black hoodie adorned with complementary silver detailing to Fox’s shoes.
Fox spoke to Jimmy Kimmel in July about how she and Kelly match outfits on purpose. “We do, yeah, [coordinate our outfits],” Fox said. “That’s something I started with him just because he’s such a flamboyant dresser that I can’t really pull off just the sweatpants or the yoga gear anymore. I have to like, elevate myself to his level so whatever he’s—because he’s always covered in grommets, zippers, sequins, everything’s pink, everything’s glowing. He’s always coming off of a stage show so I have to kind of match what he’s doing so we do coordinate often.”
In October, Fox spoke again about Kelly to British GQin a joint interview. She explained that their relationship was not your typical one. “This is a very intense relationship,” Fox said. “Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away.”
Kelly added, “It should be light [like first love], but also we go to hell with each other. It’s ecstasy and agony for sure... I don’t want people to think anything’s perfect with us. I didn’t say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason. God help you if you would’ve met us last Saturday.”
