Ariana Grande Cheekily Teased Her New Album, 'Positions'. Here's What We Know So Far.
On Saturday, Ariana Grande teased her upcoming album and single via a cheeky video on her Instagram grid and Twitter. In the video, she ran her hand across a green lit-up
green keyboard to spell out what is presumably a single and album title, "P-O-S-I-T-I-O-N-S."
Per the announcement, the single, presumably called "Positions," will come out on October 23 with the album release on October 30.
There's a helpful countdown on her website here, in case you want to feel more joy.
This new music appears to be a pre-election reward for Grande's civically engaged followers. Earlier this month, she tweeted, "Turning in these mixes and reminding u again to register to vote if u haven't already / to vote early."

On the 14th, she also tweeted this, signaling that the album would be a non-political, welcome "October surprise":
i can’t wait to give u my album this month

Although she had a new album just around the corner, Grande opted out of attending the Billboard Music Awards in person this month. She did, however, perform IRL at the VMAs with Lady Gaga in August.
"happy VMA day ::) so excited for u see our first rain on me performance tonight!, she wrote on her Instagram then. "@ladygaga is fucking incredible and i’m so honored to share this moment with her and u all ? also just want to say thank you to @MTV being so diligent in making this such a safe & healthy experience for all of the performers and crew involved. it’s so greatly appreciated and i can’t imagine how difficult it was to figure out! see u all so soon! ?"

Anyway, this is your friendly reminder to make a voting plan, if you haven't already. If you do, you'll get some new Ariana Grande music as a treat. OK, so the new music is coming out, regardless, but come on. Vote.
