Lizzo Joined Harry Styles For Surprise Performance at Coachella Weekend 2
For the second week of Coachella, Harry Styles surprised the audience when he invited Lizzo out on the stage to join him in for some electric duets. On Friday, April 22,
Lizzo walked out mid-set wearing a matching pink look with a feathered coat top to pair with the former boy band singer. Together, they sang Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 hit “I Will Survive,” and the crowd went wild.

The previous weekend, Styles had invited musical artist Shania Twain to join him, dueting her top hits “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” and “You’re Still The One.”
These guest appearances have been a delight for fans, but also for the performers themselves. Lizzo shared a hilariously blurry selfie with Styles backstage in which they both look absolutely ecstatic to be together.
“Proud of you @harrystyles,” Lizzo wrote in the caption. “Thank u for having me.”
The musicians have been friends for a while and obvious admirers of one another's work. They've also performed together before, when Lizzo hosted Harry Styles as her surprise guest in January 2020 when he popped up at The Fillmore Miami Beach for a performance of chart topper “Juice. ”
Lizzo celebrated Styles' Grammy win on Instagram last year, and they have both done cover's of each other's work on BBC Radio 1’s YouTube series “Live Lounge.” Lizzo performed his song “Adore You” while Styles covered “Juice,” of which he is clearly a fan.
In 2020, Styles said during an interview segment at TODAY’s Citi Concert Series how much he admired Lizzo as an artist.
“I think she’s such a great artist,” he said. “I think as fan, what you want artists to be is themselves, and I think she’s someone who is just herself and she makes amazing music and it’s really feel good and I think that’s what a lot of people need right now. I think she’s great.”
