Eyes closed, night calls
Sweating bodies, high beats per minute, heads going up and down, swinging hairs, eyes closed while hands pump up to the ceiling. You’ve probably already guessed it, I’m talking about dancing.
Dancing, a way for thousands of youngsters to let go of their problems, to express themselves, to be just in the moment, and nowhere else.
Due to the Corona virus, dancing is now illegal. A dystopian truth, clubs are closed and in financial need, and the youngsters are stuck at home.
For this photo series, we want to dance again. We’ve casted over 10 ravers to dance their heart out in a white studio space. Steaming individuals with their eyes closed, letting go, if only for just a second.
