Machine Gun Kelly 'Sees Marriage' for Him and Megan Fox
Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker) and Megan Fox have been dating since early this year. They met, pre-pandemic, while on the set of a film and they spent the quarantine together
after their project was shut down because of COVID-19. Now, they are thinking about tying the knot in the near future.
"MGK and Megan make each other laugh and that's a big thing for Megan. They keep each other smiling," a source told Entertainment Tonight. "MGK totally sees marriage in his future with Megan and friends could 100 percent see them getting engaged within the next year."
This has been a hard year, but if you're trying to get to know someone new, quarantine seems to be a good place to do it. Kelly and Fox spent a lot of quality time together during lockdown.
"The down time has been good for them...They are intrigued by each other and having a lot of fun," a source told E! News in June. "It's new and exciting for Megan," the source continued. "She has only been with Brian [Austin Green] for many years and this is very different. She's into it."
Things have really escalated for the couple has the year has gone on. In aNovember Nylon cover story, Kelly spoke about what his relationship with Fox means to him.
"Love is not what's being encouraged now," he said. "In fact, it's exactly the opposite: Everything now is isolation, dehumanization, separation. And fuck, dude, you have in your head that you're this rock star, with multiple women and all that…So finding someone that can take you out of the fast lane and make sure that you're safe, because at any minute you can crash—I love that it can evolve into that."
Fox also chimed in for the piece and added that she tried to find a balance between supporting and not controlling her partner: "It's more that he looks to me to avoid his own self destructive tendencies," she said. "And that's where I'm useful because on his own and left to his own devices I don't know how much interest he has in caring for himself.
In August, Fox's ex, Green, appeared to subtweet Fox and Kelly after they posted a couple-y post on Instagram. "Achingly Beautiful Boy...My heart is yours ?♥️?," she wrote.
"Achingly beautiful boys...... My heart is yours," Green wrote alongside photos of the couple's three sons, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey Green, and his son with Vanessa Marcil, Kassius Marcil-Green.
