Selena Gomez Just Became an Investor in Serendipity Ice Cream and Released Her Own Flavor: 'It's Heaven'
Selena Gomez has an HBO Max quarantine cooking show, Selena + Chef, which just came out earlier this month, and she's days away from releasing her and BLACKPINK's single "Ice Cream.
" So it only makes sense that Gomez further expanded her foray into the world of food by literally investing in a fancy, super-premium ice cream company and making her own flavor.
Gomez announced on her Instagram this afternoon that she is ice cream brand Serendipity's newest partner. Serendipity ice cream is, of course, affiliated with the famous New York City restaurant Serendipity3, which is acclaimed for its frozen hot chocolate and many decadent desserts.
Gomez's childhood memories there in part led to her investing in its ice cream brand. "I grew up going to the iconic @serendipity3nyc restaurant so I couldn’t be more excited to join the ownership team," she wrote. "In honor of the release of ICE CREAM with @blackpinkofficial, I created Cookies and Cream Remix… made with pink vanilla ice cream as a nod to the girls!"
In the video she posted, she explains the flavor she created while seemingly getting ready on the set of the music video for "Ice Cream."
"This is my flavor at Serendipity," she started. "It’s called Cookies and Cream Remix—that’s me [on the box]—and it has pink vanilla ice cream, with thick fudge swirl and brown cream-filled cookie pieces. So basically, it’s heaven, and every bite is delicious."

Gomez's Serendipity flavor Cookies and Cream Remix will be available in grocery stores, convenience stores, and other food retailers, along with online at SerendipityBrands.com starting this Friday. It will sell for $5.99.
Gomez gave a big hint about her Serendipity collaboration when she gave a tour of her refrigerator on Instagram's Reels earlier this summer. Her freezer was filled with ice cream from the brand.
