Justin Timberlake Confirms That He and Jessica Biel Had a Second Son and Shares His Name
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are the parents of two boys, Timberlake confirmed to Ellen DeGeneres in an appearance that airs Monday. The couple welcomed their second son, Phineas, in 2020;
he was reportedly born in July. He has an older brother named Silas, who will turn 6 in April.
"He's awesome and so cute. Nobody's sleeping," Timberlake said. "But we're thrilled. We're thrilled and couldn't be happier. Very grateful."
DeGeneres revealed that she's known about this new baby for some time. In fact, Timberlake said the talk-show host was one of the first people "outside of the family" who was aware of the news.
"I think we were FaceTiming and you said, 'Hey, you want to know a secret?' and then Jessica walked in and you put your hand on her stomach," she said. "You were like, 'I'm having another baby!'"
This confirmation doesn't come as a shock. In September, Timberlake's fellow N'SYNC member told Entertainment Tonight about the baby.
"The baby is cute of course; it's Justin and Jessica!" he said. Bass did leave the baby's name off the record: "That's a good question," he said. "Justin would kill me!"
Before Bass said anything though, Timberlake's friend and collaborator Brian McKnight let slip that the Timberlakes are now a family of four.
"I think if he’s going to do music, he's going to make sure that that’s secure, and then he'll bring us into his music," he said to Hollywood Life. "And being inspired! He just had a new baby. I think that's going to be really inspiring for him and he'll have some new music based on that, I'm sure."
Welcome to the world, Phineas! Sorry it's a real mess right now.
