Lena Dunham debuts collection for 11 Honoré
Apr 6, 2021
Lena Dunham is teaming up with luxury plus-size retailer 11 Honoré for the launch of an exclusive collection.
The five-piece edit launches Tuesday, April 6, and includes a navy pinstriped blazer and miniskirt, a printed dress, a shirt and a mock-neck tank. The American actress, writer, director and producer collaboratively designed the collection, available in sizes 12 to 26, with 11 Honoré's in-house designer Danielle Williams Eke. Items are priced from $98 to $298.
“This collaboration with 11 Honoré was about wanting to cultivate a space where the question of whether a plus body will be embraced by the clothes is a non-issue, and the clothes are not demanding that a plus woman hide,” said Dunham, in a collection pre-launch post on Instagram.
Launched in 2017, the collaboration is 11 Honoré’s first celebrity foray. The retailer, which specializes in high-end designer clothing in extended sizes, has seen massive growth. In November 2019, it raised $10 million in funding for strategic expansion, with investors including Nordstrom Inc, and most recently launched a new private label collection meant for everyday wear.
Designers featured on 11 Honoré include Ganni, Jason Wu, Dolce & Gabbana, Altuzarra and Mara Hoffman, among others.
