My hunt for effectively hydrating skin care never ends, and this time, I’m super excited to try AROMATICA’s Aloe Hy-ffective line. Before jumping into the
products themselves, it’s worthwhile to learn more about AROMATICA’s philosophy, as that was one of the main reasons I was so keen to review the brand’s products.

AROMATICA uses ethically sourced and vegan ingredients to formulate its Aloe Hy-ffective cleanser, toner, serum and cream. These scentless products contain not only skin-soothing aloe as the name suggests, but also five types of hyaluronic acid to deliver moisture deep into skin for a super nourished, moisturized and dewy finish. After using them morning and night for over one week, I can attest to their ability to improve skin health and complexion.
Aloe Hy-ffective Cleanser
Key ingredients: aloe extract, 5% hyaluronic acid and 0.1% enzyme
Formulated with five types of hyaluronic acid and enzymes, this slightly acidic micellar gel cleanser gently removes makeup, impurities and excess sebum while keeping skin hydrated.
Experience: The gel texture was light and easy to spread on skin. I gently rubbed it in circular motions before rinsing it off. At first, I was skeptical about its ability to clean off all my foundation, but it actually did thanks to the infused micelles. This cleanser was nothing short of smoothing and soothing.
Aloe Hy-ffective Toner
Key ingredients: aloe extract, 5% hyaluronic acid and 2% PHA
This mild toner soothes skin after cleansing by keeping it balanced and hydrated, and preps skin for products applied next. It also gently exfoliates skin with PHA to promote better absorption and retention of moisture.
Experience: Compared to most toners I’ve used, this one felt dense despite its watery consistency. I squirted a generous amount into my palms and patted the toner onto my skin. I appreciated its dense texture as it kept my skin moisturized and nourished. This toner served to improve moisture absorption from the serum and cream I used next.
Aloe Hy-ffective Serum
Key ingredients: aloe extract, 40% hyaluronic acid and 1% Vitamin B5 (panthenol)
This serum is packed with low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid to intensely hydrate skin and lock in moisture. It improves skin’s moisture barrier and texture thanks to panthenol.
Experience: This serum felt smooth and soothing on my skin, like a moisturizing gel. I initially used three drops, but due to its strong nourishing effect, I eventually decreased it to two drops. I enjoyed a dewy, smooth complexion soon after use.
Aloe Hy-ffective Cream
Key ingredients: aloe extract, 5% hyaluronic acid and 5% vegan collagen
This rich cream contains five types of hyaluronic acid and glyceryl glucoside to “hy-ffectively” hydrate skin and panthenol to boost its moisture barrier. The added vegan collagen greatly moisturizes skin, improves elasticity and eases the appearance of fine lines.
Experience: A little goes a long way when using this potently moisturizing cream. I realized this after applying a chunky dollop onto my skin – there was so much excess that I had to spread it to my neck and décolletage. The cream has a thick viscosity, but not to a point that suffocates skin. It was just right. My skin felt super moisturized and plump, and looked even dewier. This cream is a must-have, especially during dry and harsh weather.
Final Verdict
I love everything about AROMATICA’s Hy-ffective Aloe cleanser, toner, serum and cream! These products tick crucial points I look for in skin care – hydration, moisture retention, plumping, nourishing, vegan formulas and environmental friendliness.
I highly recommend these products, particularly for those with dry and sensitive skin. My skin has felt robustly hydrated and plump ever since I started using them in my routine. I’ll surely be keeping a lookout for more creations by this promising brand!
