As much as I love sweater weather, I’m not a big fan of winter. My combination skin always feels extra parched whenever the colder season comes around, so I incorporate more hydrating products into my routine.
The latest additions to my ritual are from Korean skin care brand COSRX. Since I enjoyed the other products from its Hydrium line, I was excited to see how the Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisturizing Cleanser, Hydrium Watery Toner and Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Water Wave Sheet Mask are like in comparison. Will this trio give my skin a much-needed moisture boost? Keep reading for my review:
Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisturizing Cleanser
My experience: I usually go for gel cleansers as they don’t leave my skin feeling stripped. Although the Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisturizing Cleanser is a foam cleanser, I didn’t experience any tightness after using this face wash.
Formulated with triple hyaluronic acid, Provitamin B5 and plant-derived surfactants, this cleanser removes makeup and grime while replenishing skin with moisture. It lathers easily and I enjoy massaging it all over my skin to help me relax first thing in the morning or after a long day.
Hydrium Watery Toner
My experience: Toners are one of my favorite skin care products because they provide immediate results.
The Hydrium Water Toner features a minimalistic formula with key ingredients such as allantoin, D-panthenol and six kinds of hyaluronic acid. It instantly rehydrates my skin after cleansing and always leaves a dewy finish.
Whenever my skin feels extra dry, I apply a few layers of this toner and treat it like an essence. The results? Hydrated and supple skin. My only wish is that it came in a bigger bottle! I love how hydrated my skin feels every time I use this, so I’m going through it more quickly than anticipated.
Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Water Wave Sheet Mask
My experience: I consider sheet masks as relaxing treats for my skin. I use them on Friday nights or Sunday mornings when I like to indulge in my self-care routine.
Like the cleanser and toner, the Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Water Wave Sheet Mask is packed with Provitamin B5 and triple hyaluronic acid. I placed it in the fridge before applying and my skin enjoyed the extra cooling effect. The fit was perfect for my face and the mask contained just enough watery essence, so it didn’t drip all over the place.
Importantly, my face didn’t feel sticky after removing the sheet mask. It made my skin feel refreshed, plump and hydrated.
My Final Thoughts
No surprises here: this trio gave my skin a serious boost of moisture. Aside from the hydrated complexion, I’m glad that none of them caused any irritation. The Hydrium Triple Hyaluronic Moisturizing Cleanser does contain fragrance so if you’re sensitive to fragrances, I recommend doing a patch test first.
Out of the three products, I highly suggest giving the Hydrium Watery Toner a go. It has earned its spot as one of my favorite K-Beauty toners!
