1. Item Baby Tee

There’s been a trend amongst influencers to squeeze into child-sized outfits, but don’t fall for that hype! Those outfits are made for kids so they won’t fit. You’ll end up overstretching the fabric and ruining the clothes. Look for adult-sized baby tees, which help accentuate your curves while providing a comfortable and snug fit. Match with high-waist pants or a tennis skirt to look sweet and sexy.

2. Item – Bustier Top

Arguably the best way to create a bombshell silhouette, the form-fitting bustier top usually boasts a sweetheart neckline to highlight cleavage and includes seam or wire design at the midriff to streamline the waist. Throw over a suit jacket and tuck into high-waist pants to look powerful and sexy. If you don’t want to wear a bustier top, a baby tee with a harness belt creates a similar effect.

3. Item – Shrug

I’ve been eyeing these long-sleeve cover-ups with chest-baring cutouts and only recently learned the item’s true name – shrugs. Different from boleros, shrugs usually cover the collarbones and the entire arms. They’re designed to be worn with a bandeau for a peekaboo effect at the decolletage. Choose one with loose sleeves or an inset choker to create contrast with the bandeau.

4. Item – Wide-Leg Pants

Regardless of length, wide-leg pants are here to stay. This season, select a pair in funky colors, such as yellow, lime green and bubblegum pink, and in luxe textures like velvet and corduroy. Wear cargo pants, sweatpants or dress pants for spring, and switch to culottes in the summer.

5. Color – Bright Pastels

Pastels are always in vogue during springtime. As a warm welcome to spring, bring on the bright and mellow colors such as lime green and yellow – after all, Illuminating Yellow is Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2021!

6. Fabrlic – Close Knit

Knits are essential for spring, and fashionistas are opting for bodycon knits this year. Sheer, lightweight and figure-hugging knit cardigans, midriff-baring tie-front knit tops and finely ribbed matching sets are some of the trendy items at the moment.

7. Detail – Piping

Piping is an effortless way to add retro athletic appeal to any clothing. It outlines the outfit’s silhouette, adding structure and an element of surprise visually. Like paneling, strategically placed piping in a piece can streamline your figure.

8. Accessory – Brimless Hat

Snapbacks are cool for summer, but for a more polished look in the spring, why not put on a clean and crisp brimless hat? Coming in different fabrics from wintry knit, corduroy and felt to summery twill and denim, there’s one for every season and occasion.

9. Accessory – Baguette Bag

A baguette bag is roomy enough to keep all your essentials and can effortlessly amp up your ‘fit. Wear with a suit jacket, camisole, wide-leg shorts and loafers for a classy look that’ll never go out of style.

10. Accessory – Chained Cuff Earrings

Essentially a stud chained to an ear cuff, this design decorates the entire ear, instead of just the helix or lobes, and creates dramatic effect with the draping chain. It’s suitable not only for street-style wear but also for chic and more sophisticated looks.
