Finding the right pair of sneakers is no easy task—it's almost as difficult as finding the best pair of jeans. To help you get a head start, we are updating you
Just about every designer has created their own it sneaks—from Chloé to Gucci to Fendi. These designer trainers fall into two distinct camps: there's high-fashion "dad" sneaks from the likes of Balenciaga and Stella McCartney, and then super-sleek posh trainers, like those from Bottega Veneta. The trend for high-end, standout sneakers has meant they have become the main element to an outfit instead of an after-thought, bringing even jeans and a T-shirt to life. And it's not just the big labels we're reaching for. The likes of Puma and Adidas are really nailing the chunky, coloured sneaker trend too.
One of our favourite trends for spring/summer 2019, is sleek, minimal all-beige outfits, which look amazing with all white pumps (we are particularly fond of those from Veja and Joseph). The Scandi set have been wearing trainers with elegant midi dresses and miniskirts, and this high-low way of dressing is certain to continue well into 2019.
When it comes to running and gym styles, it's always worth spending a little more here as it's important to look after your feet when training. Gym trainers have now become so stylish that they're good enough to even wear to brunch with jeans afterwards (sweat permitting, of course).
