Recently, Kendall Jenner stepped out onto the streets of New York City wearing a decidedly simple outfit: a look heavily steeped in pieces from The Row, including a pair of slouchy
khaki trousers topped with a white T-shirt and an oversize button-down, plus a waist-cinching belt and strappy heels. A departure from some of Jenner's signature skin-baring looks, the tailored outfit feels fresh and cool—and taps into the "oversize everything" trend that we've been seeing on the rise on the runways and street style scene.
Soon after Jenner was spotted wearing the look, I began seeing it everywhere on Instagram, and the outfit formula has quickly unfolded as the new fashion-insider uniform. Since it really speaks to my penchant for tailored outfits involving easy basics, I decided to pull some pieces I already own from my closet to give it a try. Here, see my interpretation of the look and the cool ways fashion people are wearing it themselves.
