If moving to NYC has taught me anything, it's how unpredictable this city can be. You truly never know who you'll meet, what wild things you'll see, or how a night
will end. But one thing has remained predictable, and that's how people respond to me when I tell them that I moved here from Florida. It starts with an "ooh" or an "aah" at the thought of the sunny weather, and then it quickly moves on to the question of how ready I am for the winter. My answer is pretty consistent: "I'm not ready" (paired with a worried look). Now that winter's finally here, being unprepared for these freezing temperatures is not an option, so I've made several purchases on Amazon and several trips downstairs to the mail room in the last month. Everything you could possibly need to survive winter has either already made its way to my doorstep or is in transit right now. And I mean everything—earmuffs, puffer jackets, nourishing lip masks, and more. Looking for some last-minute winter essentials? Just keep scrolling.
