Lloyd Boston Joins Ashley Stewart, Named The New Chief Creative Officer

How exciting is this news coming out of Ashley Stewart?! For those that may not know, Lloyd Boston has an impressively long career in fashion, beginning his career as Tommy Hilfiger’s first hand-picked intern in 1989, rising to the brand’s first V.P. of Art Direction. Now, he will bring that skill and decades-long fashion expertise to the plus size fashion brand, Ashley Stewart!

Ashley Stewart Names Lloyd Boston As New CCO

The new chief creative officer is also an Emmy-nominated television host and correspondent with over two decades on national television. With that experience, he definitely knows his stuff, from both the luxury fashion spaces to the everyday woman’s needs.

Boston is also widely recognized for his work with CBS on The Insider as their resident voice of style. He expanded national and global editorial coverage in the women’s and men’s fashion and luxury spaces.

With his influence and notoriety, it will definitely be interesting to watch how he will embrace, amplify and advocate for plus size fashion.

But that’s not the only change over at Ashley Stewart. They also newly appointed CEO, Gary Sheinbaum. This is not the first time the two work together. Both worked together to help build the Tommy Hilfiger brand earlier in their careers.

We can’t wait to see what the new leadership will do to refresh the Ashley Stewart brand. Ashley Stewart has such a soft spot in many plus size woman’s hearts.

Having served the plus size community since 1991, it was one of the very few brick and mortars available to plus size women looking for fashionable clothes. They offer accessible clothing for plus folks ranging from sizes 10-32, now both online and throughout their 82 stores across the United States.
