Ohhh and if the name The Power of Plus sounds familiar, his new book shares the same name as the size-inclusive digital community that Gianluca founded just three months ago!
Here is what to expect from Gianluca Russo’s debut book:
“Set to be released in 2022, Russo’s nonfiction book will explore the trailblazing women who, over the past three decades, have single-handedly built the booming plus-size fashion market, creating a tight knit community along the way.
Together, these incredible game-changers have revolutionized the future of the industry and proved once and for all that style has no size. “

Russo also announced significant plans for his The Power of Plus digital community:
The Power of Plus will be hosting monthly panels, virtual book clubs, and spotlighting size-inclusive brands.
In July, the platform hosted it’s first panel — tackling the topic of How Black Women Are Fighting the Racial Divide in Plus-Size Fashion. This panel featured four TCF faves, Gabi Gregg, Kellie Brown, Liris Crosse, and Kristine Thompson!
Power of Plus wants to continue being a space for meaningful conversations regarding the plus size fashion community. And there is more than enough room and opportunity here!
