Plus size indie designers (like Christian Omeshun) are essential in the world of plus size fashion. They create unique pieces and tend to offer moresize inclusivity than traditional or fast-fashion retailers.
That’s why we are so happy that Atlanta-based Ready-To-Wear brand Christian Omeshun has dropped their Spring 2021 collection, Nu Boheme, today!
This also marks a mini refresh for the seven-year-old Atlanta-based brand.
Founder and head designer, A’Shontay Hubbard, shared that Covid-19 had an impact on her business in a variety of ways, “When Covid happened, I lost a lot of inspiration. I was homebound like everyone and having to make major pivots to keep my business afloat.“.
Hubbard eventually found inspiration in something she was missing during Covid-19, “I realized that one of the things I missed was going out, even if it was for an hour.“
From that, the NuBoheme collection was born. Hubbard realized that if she was missing going out, her customers were probably missing it, too, and she wanted to design a collection around that.
You can wear this collection to brunch with friends or even a dinner date; whatever you make your moment to be.

We can easily see the inspiration; this gorgeous collection is filled with rich colours like citron, lilac, cinnamon, and gorgeous silhouettes.

Our favourite from the collection is definitely the Zuri string bodycon, a beautiful deep V-neck midi dress with on-trend puff-sleeves and a functional drawstring that can adjust the length of the dress.
