If you have been following along with the TCF Cultivate Awards, you know that back in January, we put out a call for BIPOC plus size indie designers, to sign up for a chance to win the Cultivate Award! Now, it’s time for YOU to pick our Cultivate Awards People’s Choice winner!
The TCF Cultivate Award with founding sponsor, Eloquii is The Curvy Fashionista’s latest program designed to support and nurture the plus size community through an Award program and a finale fashion showcase in May.
On the heels of our New Year’s Theme, Elevate, the Cultivate Award is one of the various programs and projects we are launching to assist in the growth of the plus size fashion community and industry.
Meet The Judges:
Our judges, Lindsay Peoples Wagner(The Cut Editor-in-Chief, former Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Black in Fashion Council Co-founder), Timothy Snell(celebrity stylist), Liris Crosse(plus model, author, coach, and first plus-size model winner of Project Runway), and Yesenia Torres(ELOQUII’s Director of Design) truly had their work cut out for them!
Last week, we announced the 3 finalists moving on for a chance at the grand prize!
The finalists are Ashontay of Christian Omeshun, Melissa Mercedes, and Courtney Noelle!
