What are romantic comedies without a happily-ever-after-worlds-apart story? Nothing. A rich man hires a beautiful prostitute to be his social handbag. Don’t we all love to watch that vengeful ex trying to prove a point? Unless she becomes a serial killer or crazy stalker, we’re good. Elle’s boyfriend breaks up with her to be with a smarter woman. However, things take a shocking turn. This movie is a classic cliché blonde girl story but we love it.

A rich African prince gets bored of the monotonous regal lifestyle and decides to journey to America in search of the love of his life. He chooses to disguise as a broke commoner and this strategy works perfectly as he finds his missing rib with a lot of laughter along the way.
6. 50 first dates (2004)
If you didn’t cry watching romantic comedies, then you’re an alien. A beautiful likable lady loses her memory in an accident. As a result, she’s unable to remember most things after every 24 hours. Guy meets girl and they get married but he has to keep finding new ways to make her fall in love with him everyday. So beautiful. Look at you, you’re already smiling.
7. Last holiday (2006)
A woman who has worked hard all her life gets misdiagnosed with an illness and is expected to die. Consequently, she throws caution to the wind, withdraws her savings, and decides to live out the last days of her life in grand style. Then love happens.
8. 13 going on 30 (2004)
If wishes were horses, wouldn’t we all want to be teenagers again in order to change some wrong choices we made? 13 year old Jenna Rink makes a wish on her birthday, and with an unexpected twist suddenly becomes a 30 year old lady the following day. Consequently, she gets the chance to see life from the futuristic perspective.
9. 27 dresses (2008)
How frustrating it gets when you keep accepting the “will you be my bridesmaid?” proposal. Finally, when you look in your wardrobe, it’s not just 5 but 27 dresses. Oops! To make matters worse, your sister then struts in with your major crush as her fiancé. It couldn’t get worse than that. Or could it?
10. I feel pretty (2018)
Amy Schumer stars in this romantic comedy as a young insecure woman who after a fall, becomes very confident and believes she’s the most beautiful woman in the world. This confidence is surely contagious and intimidating. This might not be a very old movie, but it deserves to be on this list. Be your own kind of beautiful but don’t wait to hit your head first.
