Baby Archie Reportedly Crashes Harry and Meghan's Zoom Calls On The Regular

Ah, the perils of working from home. Even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are feeling the stress of going about their post-royal business virtually. The couple has made several remote appearances

during quarantine, which they're spending at their sprawling estate in Santa Barbara. But rather than spend time in any of the property's reported nine bedrooms or actual on-site children's cottage, their one-year-old son Archie apparently likes to stick close by.

Finding Freedomauthor and royal reporter Omid Scobie revealed on a recent episode of his podcast, The Heir Pod, that Archie often crashes the Sussexes' video calls. "I loved discovering their daily Zoom calls with the various initiatives and people that they work with," Scobie began, adding, "And how Archie is no stranger to climbing in front of the web camera and making little impromptu cameos." As it turns out, Zoom is a platform we're all learning how to navigate and Harry and Meghan are no different.

This isn't the first intel we've received on Archie's video conference habits. Back in May, the Sussexes shared a rare glimpse of their son for his first birthday. Meghan read the children's book Duck! Rabbit! in a video for Save the Children UK's Instagram. Even in that brief reading, one can tell Archie has a flair for the on-camera theatrics.

Prior to that, Meghan and Harry's spokesperson confirmed to Hello!and Entertainment Tonightthat the family wished Queen Elizabeth II a happy 94th birthday over Zoom. E! also reported that Archie has been "loving doing FaceTime playdates with other small children they have in their lives," per a source. If the one-year-old ever has to do virtual learning, we're thinking he'll take to it quite naturally.
