Global apparel retailer Uniqlo is set to launch the second round of its latest 'Uniqlo x Theory' collection, a
collaboration with New York-based contemporary fashion brand Theory on Friday, May 14.
Following the debut collection launched in March and featuring three men's styles, the retailer is launching a complete lineup of men's and women's items.
The collection inspired by the forward-looking, dynamic spirit of New York City, features a total of 18 items including nine for men and nine for women, and aims to marry the functional materials of Uniqlo with the tailored simplicity characteristic of Theory.
The lineup includes a utility parka combining UV Cut functionality with water repellency; polo shirts and T-shirts in materials with both Dry functionality to quickly dry sweat and AIRism with a cool-touch sensation; as well as pants and dresses in Ultra Light Stretch materials.
Uniqlo and Theory are both brands of Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese retail holding company with global headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
Uniqlo is the largest of eight brands in the Fast Retailing Group, which also includes GU, Helmut Lang, PLST (Plus T), Comptoir des Cotonniers, Princesse Tam.Tam and J Brand.
