Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Roasted Each Other on Instagram

2020 has been a rough year. It seems that if it could happen, it has happened, and the report that an asteroid is heading toward earth before the presidential election seems

to be...right on the money. But there are still good things happening; you just have to look for them. One good place to look for good and happy items is Ryan Reynolds's Instagram account, where you will find his and Blake Lively's latest roast exchange.

On his profile, Reynolds posted a photo of him and the couple's dog, Bax, snuggling. "Happy Birthday, Bax," he wrote. "I'd bake you a cake, but it would kill you. Not because you're a dog. Everything I bake is poison. If I had to go to war, I'd just bring a toaster oven."

Lively responded by doing some ribbing of her own: "This is almost as sweet as the birthday post you did for me this year." Lively turned 33 on August 25, and if you take a look at her husband's grid, you will not find a birthday tribute to her for this year.

He did, however, troll her on her birthday last year, when he posted this series of photos in which he looks very good and his wife is either not looking at the camera, has her eyes closed, or is blurry in the shot.

But Lively can dish it out, too. Last year, she got back at Reynolds for his birthday post by trolling him in her Instagram story. "It's like my iPhone captured everything you need to know about my relationship in 2 simple images...," she wrote, above photos of Reynolds in a chicken hat and another of her face looking unamused.

Again, if you need to crack a smile (and we all do), these two have got you covered.
