TheFriends reunion is officially streaming next Thursday on HBO Max, and along with Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, popular K-pop band BTS will
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight , the group gave us all a little tease into what their appearance next week will be like. RM told ET's Lauren Zima that while he is a huge Friends fan and would have loved to meet the cast, that didn't happen when the reunion shot this spring, during the ongoing pandemic. “But maybe someday," RM added.
Many BTS fans already know this, but RM learned English while watching Friends.
“That’s so true. Ross, Chandler, Monica they were my English teachers actually from the States,” they said. “I’m so excited about this, and for me it almost feels like a dream to be part of such a, it’s a legend, right? So now I feel like I actually became friends with the Friends.” RM added that his favorite character is Chandler before deciding he couldn’t choose one.
Suga, however, chose his favorite Friend right away: “For me, Monica.”

The guys actually spoke about their new song, Butter, with J-Hope calling it a “a song that you can really feel the charms of BTS. It's a real summer song and you can just tell that this is a BTS.”
They also confirmed that at their remote Billboard Music Awards performance, they'll be performing “Butter” but didn't tease much else.
A remote performance might be the best we can get from BTS right now, but the band is just as excited about getting back on tour once things are safe.
“We are not able to tour now, but we are looking forward to touring as much as our fans are looking forward to it. So when things do improve, we plan to go on tour and go on the road as soon as possible,” Suga added. “And you know, the situation will be better by then, so we'll be able to enjoy meeting our fans again just as much as our fans will enjoy meeting us again.”
Other A-list guest appearances include Lady Gaga, David Beckham, Justin Bieber, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon, and Malala Yousafzai.
