Fashion never sleeps. It stays evolving, which is why we always look forward to what’s trending and looks we can get inspired by. Last week, male celebrities and top influencers across
Africa served hip and eccentric outfits.
Nigerian fashion designer Adebayo Oke-Lawal is never without an eye-catching outfit. The style star graced the African Fashion Foundation brunch in Accra, Ghana in a champagne gold mesh shirt-dress which he complemented with a pair of black culottes, both designed by his fashion brand, Orange Culture. Rather than the usual mules or loafers this type of ensemble would be typically matched with, Oke-Lawal went with a pair of mid-calf leather boots which took things towards an ultra-hip direction. He finished off the look with a matching bicycle seat hat and a yellow purse.
In Ghana, musician Bisa Kdeiposed in a colorful athleisure ensemble on the set of a yet-to-be announced music video. The artiste wore a yellow button-down shirt with a pair of teal pants with mini slits. He layered the shirt with a teal and yellow jacket which perfectly complemented the shirt and trousers. For shoes, he went with a pair of off-white sneakers and further accessorized with a pair of black sunglasses and some silver jewelry.
Last week, as male celebrities and influencers across Africa stepped out in well put together outfits, they once again showed us the power of individuality. We’ve curated last week’s best dressed celebrities for your weekly dose of menswear inspiration.
