Kate Middleton got her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, and she shared her vaccination image for all of her followers to see.
“Yesterday I received my first
dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at London’s Science Museum. I’m hugely grateful to everyone who is playing a part in the rollout—thank you for everything you are doing,” the duchess wrote on the the Duck and Duchess of Cambridge Twitter account.

Kate, who usually makes public appearances wearing outfits more formal than jeans and a ribbed summer top, also gave followers some insight into her casual style. As happy as one might be to get their vaccine, it’s not necessarily an event that requires a designer dress and heels!
Prince William received his first dose of the vaccine last week and also tweeted about his appointment. “To all those working on the vaccine rollout—thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do,” he added

In November 2020, a source told Us Weeklythat William had tested positive for COVID-19 several months before but wanted to keep his diagnosis private.
“William insisted on keeping this low-key,” a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “Only a handful of family members, senior royal staff and close friends knew about it at the time.”
The source added:
“He followed all the necessary self-isolation regulations, refused to let it get him down and even managed to work whilst recovering at home in a sectioned-off area,” the source tells Us. “There were rough moments, of course, and William learned firsthand how awful this virus is and how seriously it needs to be taken.”
Per the National Health Service (NHS) website, people age 30 and over can now receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the U.K. The website notes that you can also receive the vaccine if you will turn 30 before July 1. 1991 Cancer and Gemini babies, to the front!
