You know when you get a new haircut that makes you feel so fresh and new, and then you get in your car and immediately need to post a selfie? Okay,
maybe not everyone can relate to this feeling, but Sophie Turner sure seems to get it.
On Friday, she posted a selfie of her new blunt bangs and wrote, “ya gal’s bang’d up!”
Turner didn’t share what inspired this new hair moment, but come on; do you really need a reason to get new bangs for summer? When they look as good as these do, no.
Turner and Jonas have had quite the adventure this past year. Last July, they became parents to their daughter, Willa. Life as parents seems to suit them well, because a source told Us Weekly late last year that the couple is already thinking about giving Willa a sibling.
“Joe and Sophie are already trying to have another baby,” the source said. “They are really excited to expand their family. Having the baby has made them really close and want to have a large family together.”
In ELLE’s April 2020 cover story, Turner shared the story of how she and Jonas met—long before Willa came to be.
She said in the fall of 2016, Jonas sent a DM to Turner to ask her to hang out when he was in London.
“I was living with my friends in Camden, in a really rough flat— people were always climbing in and out of the windows,” Turner told ELLE. “When I told my friends, they were like, ‘That’s hilarious. You have to do it! And you have to text us everything he says.’”
She said Jonas was completely the opposite of what she expected: “He didn’t bring security,” she said. “He brought a friend, and they drank just as hard as the rest of us. I remember the two of us spending only a couple of minutes on the dance floor, and then we just found a space far in the corner and we just talked. We talked for hours, and hours, and hours. And I was, like, not bored. It wasn’t contrived. It wasn’t small talk—it was just so easy. And soon we were, like, inseparable. I went on tour with him.”
