Selena Gomez Went Full Pop Star in a Plunge Black Bodysuit to Perform With Marshmello for UCL Finals

Things are slowly getting back to “normal” enough for (some) live shows to happen again! Selena Gomez gave her first live, non-pre-recorded performance of 2021 at the UEFA (UCL) Champions

League final opening ceremony, alongside DJ Marshmello and Khalid. The performance took place at Estadio do Dragao Stadium in Porto, Portugal, where Manchester City played against Chelsea in the 66th European Cup final.

Selena Gomez performed “Wolves” while 3D camera tracking put Marshmallo in an imaginary reality of his own. Watch the live show below. Gomez comes in at about four minutes.

This has otherwise been a year of many virtual acceptance speeches, pre-recorded performances, and social distancing. Last week, Gomez accepted two awards at the Weibo Starlight Awards: the Starlight Hall of Fame and Favorite Collaboration (for “Ice Cream” with Blackpink).

“These awards are an amazing reminder of our ability to connect in this digital age and of how incredible my fans are around the world,” she said. “My fans in China and on Weibo have been with me through many stages of my life and have given me so much love and support through the ups and the downs. I am so grateful for all of that. A big thank you to Blackpink and everyone involved in the ‘Ice Cream’ project, Weibo, and of course, my fans. I’m looking forward to when I can visit you in China. Bye, guys!”

Gomez also stars in a new Hulu series alongside comedy legends Martin Short and Steve Martin, Only Murders in the Building. The teaser dropped on May 20:
