Jeff Goldblum, Eyewear Icon, Designed His Own Glasses

Jeff Goldblum is known for many things. There is the acting, of course, and also the enthusiastic and eccentric personality that runs alongside it. There is his jazz band, and

So, naturally, Goldblum has teamed up with one of the best labels in the glasses game—Los Angeles-based Jacques Marie Mage—for a trio of limited-edition frames.

Founded in 2015, Jacques Marie Mage makes oversized, bold frames beloved by high-wattage Hollywood types—and anyone else who favors envelope-pushing eyewear. (GQ has styled both Keanu Reeves and Brad Pitt in the brand's wares.) To say Goldblum is a fan of the label might be an understatement. He's been wearing the frames for years and is not shy about the brand being his favorite eyewear company. A collaboration between the two, then, is a natural fit.

The "Jeff" frame—a chunky silhouette with balanced details, co-designed by the man himself—is offered in three different colorways, including two optical styles and one pair of sunglasses. True to form, the "Jeff" comes in black and tortoise, and each is handcrafted in Japan of top-of-the-line materials and limited to an edition of 500.

When it comes to eyewear, you can trust Goldblum. He's worn just about every style under the sun, from tinted lenses to clear frames to out-there giant silhouettes. And over his decades-long career in the spotlight, his eyewear hits far outnumber his misses. So if you're looking for a new pair of frames, perhaps lean into the combination of quirky charm and high-grade style that only Goldblum-designed frames can offer.
