season three premiered in March 2020, nearly two years ago. But, in early 2021, Netflix had good news for viewers, announcing that the On My Block cast would reunite for one last adventure. After their epic split at the end of season three, the fourth and final season will explore what happened to the treasure-hunting crew starting October 4.

When does On My Block season 4 premiere?
Netflix shared the news in a unique way on social media. The streaming service responded to a viral video by TikToker Keyon Elkins video about how On My Block's new season is taking too long to drop. The video abruptly cuts to Jessica Marie Garcia (Jasmine), revealing that the new season will premiere on October 4, 2021, on Netflix.
Will the OG cast return?
In the highly-anticipated upcoming season, the original gang will come together for their usual shenanigans. Diego Tinoco will reprise his role as Santos member César Diaz, along with Sierra Capri (Monse Finnie), Jason Genao ( Ruby Martinez), Brett Gray (Jamal Turner), Jessica Marie Garcia (Jasmine), and Julio Macias (Oscar Diaz).
Are there photos of the upcoming season yet?
Along with the release date announcement, Netflix revealed first look photos of season 4. The images show Jamal's new life as a high school jock, César embarking on his new life as a Santos, and Monse seemingly arriving somewhere with a big smile on her face. The photos also revealed that Spooky might have turned around to live a less dangerous life, as he was seen kissing the belly of a young woman—without his Santos signature look—hinting that he is welcoming a child. The photos also hint that Jasmine and Ruby are still together as she cares for him in one image.
Netflix has yet to release an official trailer of the final season.
When does season 4 take place?
According to the official synopsis, "Season 4 finds our friends two years later, having gone their separate ways. When a secret is unburied, they quickly learn you can't run from the past, and they will need to stick together to survive."
