some surprises, as well. Falz the Bahd Guy returns this week in company of rap duo, Ajebo Hustlers to give fans a lesson on Body Language. He has been on a roll this year.
After a long hiatus, Ghanaian singer, DarkoVibes has made a return to the music scene and made a splash with the help of OBO Davido as they both deliver on Je Mápelle along with a colorful and traditional video. We’ve curated a list of the top five banging Afrobeats songs this week.

#1. Falz ft. Ajebo Hustlers – Body language
Multifaceted Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Falz, surfaced back into the music mainstream to steal the show with this studio number, Body Language. In the track, he employs the service of Nigerian music duo, Ajebo Hustlers, who gave a top-notch rendition on this record, showing their versatility. Ajebo Hustlers came through with marvelous verses while Falz, as expected, delivered his unending flows and massive punchlines.
#2. Cheque ft. Ayra Starr – Dangerous
Penthauze celebrated singer, Cheque unfolds a new record titled Dangerous featuring fellow rising artist Ayra Starr. The song is off his newly released body of work Bravo – an album of 13 tracks and lots of star features. On the Rhyme Bamz-produced song, the duo show listeners that not only ballads sound good with pairs. The merging of their sounds and lyricism created a groovy club banger.
#3. DarkoVibes ft. Davido – Je Mápelle
After a few months without news, Ghana’s DarkoVibes makes his comeback in style with Je m’appelle, accompanied by none less than Davido–one of the kings of contemporary Afrobeats. On this extra-joyful song, the two artists and their beatmaker MOG draw inspiration from South African gqom to deliver rapid and light-hearted verses, dabbling in French to honor their West-African compatriots.
#4. Joeboy – Alcohol
Nigerian singer-songwriter, Joeboy is here again to takeover the charts with a new song titled Alcohol. Produced by the Nigerian music producer Tempoe, the perfectly crafted tune is customized to suit every listening ear and gives another taste of the sound and creativity that has placed Joeboy on the pedestal of the Afrobeat pyramid. This is without doubt why he’s one of the most exciting and promising young acts on the Afro-pop scene.
#5. The Cavemen – Udo
Award-winning Nigerian afro-highlife duo, The Cavemen, drop this brand-new single tagged Udo. Udo, which is an Igbo name for “Peace,” serves as a follow-up to their previous song Selense. The Cavemen saw a meteoric rise in fame last year after the release of their debut album Roots. Since then, they have gone on to keep impressing fans with their releases after that.
