Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez went shopping as a couple together in Westwood, Los Angeles, accompanied by Lopez's 13-year-old daughter Emme on Friday. Lopez wore baggy jeans and long-sleeved grey sweater
and wool coat that matched Affleck's jacket. Under that, Affleck wore a knit sweater and grey t-shirt.
Lopez was carrying a Coach handbag she occasionally handed to her boyfriend, which was printed with a portrait of Barbara Streisand.
Affleck recently spoke with WSJ Magazine about how he and J.Lo reunited years after their first relationship for their December/January.
“I can say that it's definitely beautiful to me,” Affleck said. “And, you know, one of the things I really value across all facets of my life now is that it was handled in a way that reflected that.”
He continued, “My life now reflects not just the person that I want to be, but the person that I really feel like I am—which is not perfect, but somebody who tries very hard and cares very much about being honest and authentic and accountable. It’s hard to say who benefits more, without going into gossipy detail... And it is a good story. It’s a great story. And, you know, maybe one day I’ll tell it. I’ll write it all out... And then I’ll light it on fire.”
Affleck added that it's important to maintain boundaries around his relationship and the outside world.
“You can write conjecture about it, but one of the harder lessons that I have learned is that it's not wise to share everything with the world,” he said.
Lopez recently flew back from Vancouver to join Affleck for Thanksgiving, their first major holiday together since reuniting earlier this year.
“They are doing really well. Jennifer loves being with Ben. She feels it's truly meant to be,” the source told People at the time.
