Kate Middleton Steps Out in Chic Sapphire Dress and Floral Mask for Tommy's Engagement

Kate Middleton has been doing more in-person engagements over the past couple weeks as the UK adjusts to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. And while the Duchess notoriously hasn't always worn a

mask while on outings, today she did—and she chose a truly gorgeous light blue floral mask by Amaia Kids to complement her belted sapphire A-line dress.

Kate visited the Institute of Reproductive and Development Biology at Imperial College in London as part of an engagement for baby charity Tommy's. There, she learned about the work the UK charity is doing to reduce rates of miscarriage, stillbirth, and premature birth.

It comes after Kate made an appearance earlier this week at the virtual Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. She announced the winner and filmed the segment in London's Natural History Museum. She dressed sharply in a black blazer, top, and slacks.

In the clip, she said, "It is so wonderful to be back at the reopened Natural History Museum, where we can all enjoy its treasures once again. I'm here because tomorrow night I'm announcing the 56th Wildlife Photographer of the Year. I've been lucky enough to have a quick preview and I can say it's truly spectacular. I can't wait for you all to see it."

Kate and her husband Prince William unveiled the winning photograph on their Kensington Palace Instagram account. "Congratulations to Sergey Gorshkov for his photo ‘The Embrace’ - the winning image of this year's Wildlife Photographer of the Year (@NHM_WPY)!" the couple's team wrote. "This competition attracts the very best in wildlife photography. The skill and creativity of this year’s images provide a moving and fascinating insight into the beauty and vulnerability of life on our planet - giving us such powerful insights into the natural world, and reminding us that caring for our environment and its precious biodiversity has never been more important. #WPY56"
