The Jonas Brothers were up for multiple major Billboard Music Award categories tonight, but that wasn't enough to bring Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner to the ceremony in-person. The
new parents opted not to attend the award show in Los Angeles amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. There was no audience there, and only winners for the limited number of awards announced during the broadcast appeared in perosn.
The Jonas Brothers were nominated for Top Artist, Top Duo/Group, Top Radio Songs Artist, and Top Radio Song ("Sucker"). Top Artist is the show's biggest category (Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Khalid, and Billie Eilish are the other nominees), but regardless, each category has pretty stiff competition. Post Malone won Top Artist, and the other three categories weren't announced on the show.
The Jonas Brothers ultimately ended up winning the remaining three, Billboard announced post-ceremony:

Jonas has spent quarantine largely at home with Turner. The couple welcomed their daughter Willa at the end of July, and since then, Jonas has shared Instagrams of the two at home here and there.
Last night, he debuted a new neck tattoo—seemingly featuring Turner's face:
Jonas has given relatively limited interviews in the last couple months, but he spoke poignantly about Turner's impact on him and his brothers during a group interview for Harper's Bazaar last June. She's partly to thank for them reuniting and becoming a band again.
He admitted that seeing Sophie and her family's healthy relationship that inspired him to work on things with Kevin and Nick Jonas after he initially struggled to accept the band's first breakup.
“It encouraged me to see she had such a great relationship with her brothers,” Jonas said. “That was really a big thing for me to be able to look at, and say, ‘I gotta get my shit together.’”
